• Bad install: Exposed channel on the face of the fascia with visible screws and mismatched trim color. Very noticeable.

Ask to see daytime photos of the installer's previous work before signing. The daytime look separates pros from franchise-in-a-box installers.

What It Replaces

Christmas lights: Yes, completely. No more ladder time every November and January. Most clients say this alone justifies the install.

Professional Christmas light hanging service: Yes. Typical professional Christmas lights run $600–1,200/year installed and removed. 6–8 years of those payments covers a permanent install.

Landscape accent lighting on the home: Partially. Permanent lighting handles the eaves and roofline. Tree uplighting, path lights, and wash lighting still require a separate landscape lighting system.
